Description
The Kevin Lee interchangeable-blade awl is a stitching tool for opening stitch holes, marking and detailed work at the bench. It is supplied with an interchangeable 2.0mm Diamond-profile blade.
Unlike a fixed-blade awl, the blade sits in a socket rather than being fixed permanently to the handle. When the blade wears or a different profile is needed, only the blade is replaced, not the whole tool.
The handle is turned from solid rosewood — the same handle wood used on our other Kevin Lee awls — with a solid brass ferrule at the join, shaped to sit comfortably in hand through repeated use.
