This policy explains how Hideout Craft dispatches and delivers orders within the United Kingdom.
All orders are packed securely and shipped with full tracking.
1. Dispatch Times
Orders are processed based on the shipping option selected at checkout.
Urgent Dispatch (Optional)
For time-sensitive orders.
- Orders placed before 1pm (Monday–Friday) are dispatched the same business day
- Orders placed after 1pm are dispatched the next business day
- Orders cannot be amended or cancelled after payment when this option is selected
Standard Dispatch (Tracked 24 & Tracked 48)
- Orders placed before 12pm (Monday–Friday) are usually dispatched the same business day
- Orders placed after 12pm are dispatched the next business day
We aim to meet these timeframes wherever possible, but dispatch times are not guaranteed.
2. UK Shipping Methods
Shipping options are shown at checkout and are based on the weight, value, and type of products in your basket.
We use Royal Mail for most deliveries and insured courier services for high-value orders.
Royal Mail Tracked Services
- Royal Mail Tracked 24
- Royal Mail Tracked 48
These services are used for the majority of orders and provide full tracking.
Premium & Age-Restricted Items
Certain tools (such as knives, blades, and premium equipment) require signed delivery.
These items are shipped using:
- Royal Mail Tracked 24 Signed
- Royal Mail Tracked 48 Signed
Age-restricted products require date of birth verification at checkout.
High-Value Orders (£100 and over)
Orders with a total value of £100 or more are shipped using a fully tracked and insured delivery service.
This may include Royal Mail Special Delivery or a trusted courier, depending on the most appropriate and secure option for your order.

3. Tracking
Tracking details will be provided by email once your order has been dispatched.
It is the customer’s responsibility to monitor tracking and ensure availability for delivery where required.
4. Delivery Address Responsibility
Customers are responsible for ensuring that the delivery address provided at checkout is accurate and complete.
Hideout Craft will dispatch orders to the address exactly as entered.
We are not responsible for delivery issues, delays, or losses resulting from incorrect or incomplete address details provided by the customer.
If an error is identified, customers must contact us as soon as possible.
We cannot guarantee that changes can be made once an order has been processed or dispatched.
5. Delivery Issues
Once a parcel has been marked as delivered by the courier, responsibility transfers to the customer.
If there is an issue with delivery:
- Customers should first check with neighbours or safe places
- Customers should contact the courier directly using the tracking information provided
- We will assist where possible, but we are not liable for issues arising after confirmed delivery
6. Packaging
Orders are packed carefully using appropriate protective materials to ensure safe delivery.
7. International Shipping
International delivery is not currently available.
