Description

The Kevin Lee Liftable Black Walnut Stitching Pony is a table-mounted clamp for holding leather during two-handed saddle stitching. Its 65mm jaw provides the current holding width, while the liftable format allows the working position to be adjusted using the supplied aluminium accessories.

Clamping the work at pony height frees both hands to control the needles and thread, which is the main benefit of this style of pony over holding the piece by hand. The pony is made from black walnut and mounts to the bench with a G-clamp; the liftable accessories let you raise or lower the clamped leather to a comfortable working position without repositioning the whole pony.
