Description
The Kevin Lee Foundation Diamond Iron Set provides 2-, 5- and 10-tooth irons at 4mm spacing. All three irons use the same diamond-shaped tooth geometry; tooth count changes only how many holes are marked per strike.
The 2-tooth iron gives control when changing direction around corners and curves. The 5- and 10-tooth irons mark progressively more holes per strike on straighter sections. Diamond-shaped teeth produce a different hole profile from French-style pricking irons, leaving the choice of profile and spacing to the maker.
Use the irons with a suitable nylon hammer or maul rather than a metal hammer.
