The Kevin Lee 3.85mm French-style pricking iron set combines 2-, 8- and 12-tooth irons at the same 3.85mm pitch. Each iron is machined from hardened, rust-resistant alloy steel, heat-treated to 58 HRC and mirror-polished for smooth, consistent stitch holes. The three tooth counts provide different working lengths while keeping the spacing, tooth geometry and resulting hole profile consistent. The 2-tooth iron gives control when changing direction around corners and curves. The 8- and 12-tooth irons mark progressively more holes per strike on straighter sections.
