This policy explains how Hideout Craft dispatches and delivers orders within the United Kingdom.
We pack every order securely and provide full tracking for all shipments.
1. Dispatch Times & Processing Options
At checkout, customers may select from the following order-processing options.
These apply in addition to the shipping method shown.
Urgent Dispatch (customer-selected option)
For time-sensitive orders.
- Orders placed before 1pm are processed the same day.
- Orders placed after 1pm are processed the next business day.
- Order changes or cancellations cannot be made after payment when using this option.
Urgent Dispatch is optional and allows us to prioritise your order immediately.
Tracked 24 Orders
- Orders placed before 3pm will be processed on a best-endeavours basis for same-day dispatch.
- Order amendments may be made until 1pm on the same business day the order is placed.
- If same-day dispatch is not possible, the order will be processed the next business day.
This option provides faster delivery without guaranteeing same-day processing.
Tracked 48 Orders
- Orders are processed the next business day, between 12pm–3pm.
- Order amendments may be made until 11am on the following business day.
Tracked 48 is ideal for non-urgent or larger orders.
2. UK Shipping Methods
Shipping options shown at checkout are determined automatically based on the weight, value, and type of products in your basket.
We use Royal Mail for most parcels and a premium courier service for high-value orders.
Small Item Services (orders under 400 g)
For lightweight orders without premium or age-restricted items.
- Royal Mail Tracked 24 – Small Parcel
- Royal Mail Tracked 48 – Small Parcel
These offer fast and economical delivery for small consumables and accessories.
Standard Tracked Services (orders 400 g and over)
For heavier orders without premium or age-restricted items.
- Royal Mail Tracked 24 (Standard)
- Royal Mail Tracked 48 (Standard)
Premium & Age-Restricted Items
Certain tools (e.g., knives, blades, premium irons) require enhanced handling.
These items always ship with:
- Royal Mail Tracked 24 Signed, or
- Royal Mail Tracked 48 Signed
Unsigned services are not available for these items.
Age-restricted products require a date of birth check at checkout.
High-Value Orders (£100 and over)
All orders totalling £100 or more ship exclusively via:
- Insured Courier Delivery – £9.95
(1–2 working days, fully tracked and insured)
Royal Mail is not available for high-value baskets.
This ensures safe and reliable delivery of expensive tools and materials.
3. Tracking
A tracking link is emailed once your parcel has been dispatched.
You can follow your delivery door-to-door.
4. Packaging
Orders are packed carefully using suitable protective materials.
We aim to minimise waste while ensuring safe delivery.
5. International Shipping
International delivery is not currently available.
